Getting started
Does it work without an account?
Yes, in local mode. The extension can run OCR and translation entirely on your device, for free and without signing in. Cloud translation needs an account: every new account receives 200 starter credits once, and you can buy more or subscribe.
What is local mode?
A mode where the extension does the work itself. You install the OCR and translation models you want, and pages are read and translated inside your browser. Nothing is uploaded and no credits are used.
Where do I find comics to translate?
See Raw sources for official Korean, Chinese, Japanese, and multi-language stores, plus short buying and age-verification guides. Open the chapter in your browser, then use the extension on that tab.
Can I save a chapter to read later?
Yes. In the extension, Settings has Recently translated and a Library. You can add a chapter from a URL, or from images, a CBZ/ZIP, or a PDF. Saved chapters stay on your device. Cloud jobs use credits; local mode uses the models you installed.
Which browsers are supported?
Chrome and Firefox, plus a browser-based Studio that needs no install. The extension is also built on the WebExtensions API, so other Chromium browsers (Brave, Edge, Opera) work too.
Privacy
What do you store about what I read?
No raw title, chapter, or URL. The server sees rendered pixels to translate and a series-level identifier for cache quality; it does not keep a user reading history.
Can I delete my account?
Yes. Settings → Delete account cancels any active subscription through its payment provider before removing the account and its access. Account data is deleted; anonymized billing and usage records may be retained for payment disputes.
Billing
Do credits expire?
No. Purchased credits and the signup grant stay in your wallet until you spend them. They never expire.
How does the monthly subscription work?
The monthly plan uses included monthly usage first. If you pass that cap, purchased credits are spent as overflow; if they cannot cover a request, a paced daily allowance keeps access available. Both paths use the same per-request cost.
