Checkout cookies
PayPal or Paddle may set their own cookies or storage entries when you open checkout, approve a payment, or manage a subscription. Those payment flows are hosted by the provider and are subject to its privacy and cookie notices.
Extension storage
The browser extension keeps some information on your own device, such as your settings, your sign-in, what it has already translated on a page, and chapters you save to the Library, so it works smoothly as you read. This stays on your device and is separate from website cookies.
