Refund & Cancellation Policy
MetelScan sells digital products: prepaid translation credits and an optional monthly subscription. Payments and refunds are handled through our payment provider, PayPal, which will appear on your receipt and card statement. This policy explains when a purchase can be refunded and how to ask.
Monthly subscription
- You can cancel at any time from your billing page or by contacting support.
- When you cancel, your subscription stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for, then does not renew. You keep access until that date.
- We do not provide partial or pro-rated refunds for the remainder of a billing period that has already started.
- If you were charged for a renewal you did not intend and have not used the new period's allowance, contact us within 14 days and we will refund it.
Credit packs
- Unused credit packs can be refunded within 14 days of purchase. A pack counts as unused only if you have not spent any credit from it.
- Once you have spent one or more credits from a pack, that pack is non-refundable, because the service has already been delivered.
- Credits expire 12 months after purchase.
If something goes wrong
We want you charged only for translations you actually received. If you were double-charged, charged after cancelling, or a translation failed on our side and still consumed credits, contact us and we will refund or re-credit you regardless of the windows above.
How to request a refund
Email support@metelscan.com from the address on your account, and include the order or receipt ID from your PayPal receipt. We aim to reply within 3 business days. Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method through PayPal; how quickly it appears depends on your bank or card issuer.
Chargebacks
Please reach out to us before opening a chargeback or payment dispute. we can almost always resolve billing issues faster directly. Accounts used to abuse refunds or chargebacks may be suspended.
Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits any refund or cancellation rights you have under the mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country. Where those laws give you stronger rights, those rights apply.
